Ronny Carter, wastewater specialist for the Pontchartrain Conservancy, was recently presented with the 2023 Water Heroes Award by the Water Environment Federation.
Carter won the award for his efforts in assisting with home and commercial wastewater systems in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida on the northshore.
